“We stayed in a villa and it was incredibly spacious with fantastic ocean views. Our villa featured a large deck, a small fridge, and even a private swimming pool. It was very relaxing to unwind there after a day of activities. My mother enjoyed her room, which directly accessed green grass and had a stunning view of the bay.” view full review

“While some may find the hills challenging, I loved the physical aspect of walking up and down the steep paths. It was a great way to stay active during our stay, and it felt good to burn off some calories after enjoying the delicious meals. I had a mixed experience at the resort. On one hand, the views are incredible, and the wildlife around is captivating. On the other hand, the property seems to be in dire need of maintenance, and during my stay, the food situation was quite concerning. The overall vibe felt more like a ghost town than a vibrant resort. Definitely not what I expected.

We just had the most amazing stay at the Ocotal Resort! This place offers incredible value and the staff is genuinely accommodating and friendly. The views from our villa were breathtaking, but the steep hill might be a challenge for those who aren't in good shape. The food is delicious, especially at breakfast and by the pool, but we did notice some fluctuations in menu prices. Overall, a fantastic experience with plenty of wildlife around, making it feel like you're truly in paradise.
